This is a follow up post from the last one i did a few weeks after installation. I am sorry to report that speeds and line quality has gotten worse from the last review. The comments, which are numerous and very insightful have provided a perspective on the service seperate from my own and draw the same conclusions that i did. After countless emails and calls to Zuku Customer care we are at this point now, lots of references to the mysterious Network Section have been made, to no avail.

This time i decided to use a different approach and show you using video captures off my screen to show my experience with this service. I was holding back this review hoping that they might have gotten their act together by now and i would do a glowing review after setting aside my previous verdict of rubbish and encourage aspiring subsribers to sign on in droves to a quality service.

So far, using my bandwidth monitoring tool included in my Tomato router software i have observed a very jagged graph for international speeds while the local speed graph is so smooth that it rivals a baby’s bottom. Enough of the verbosity and on with the show, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my world. I am using a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 677 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM equipped MacBook with Mac OS X [10.5.5] as the test machine so viruses and other bandwidth leaks are not a factor since they do not exist in this set up.

Big Brother Africa III: Final Eviction.

It has come down to the wire and with Tawana and Hazel up for eviction, who shall africa give the heave ho? [pun so intended on the last word. ]

The singer for the show today was a rather acrobatic and well endowed young lady whose…assets had me glued to my seat for various reasons, some i cannot mention here…perhaps i shall persue them in my blog later.

So Tawana got tossed out. Apparently sleeping with any male that you could lay your hands on in the house was a totally bad idea. Who knew? And what is with that make up on her eye? Did she earn herself a black eye? Tell us in the comments.

The great Miriam Makeba has passed away. She was a South African Musician of great repute and a human rights activist and died at 76 years old of a heart attack after a performance in Italy.

All the people who claim that their years of youth were the best ever put your hands up. Quite a number i see, now put them down, you do look kind of silly doing that in your cubicle at the office or in the cyber, if you are at home your housemates probably already have you marked for admission to the nearest asylum and have their number written in permanent marker on the phone cradle. These songs here mark a most significant part of my teenage years and shall do so for quite a long time to come.

Mice Murder Has Never Been So Easy.

A new revolutionary device to eliminate those pesky mouse things has been introduced, and it kills a mouse in about 3 seconds. Apparently it can take out 150 mouses before the charge runs out in the batteries provided with the unit. You may need to empty the dead mouse compartment every 10 mice or so, depending on how well fed you have kept the rodents.

There is something horribly chilly about the efficiency of this mouse killer, “ready to kill again” sends chills down my spine.

That said, i should buy one and send it on a quest with my younger brother, there are some mouses on the farm that might short circuit it instead, those buggers are the toughest i have ever encountered, short of dropping a ton of bricks on them, nothing ever does kill them! Even after dropping the ton of bricks on them they crawl off to die in their burrows, or wherever else they hole up.
